Depending on the version of software, a license key will be required. It is of the form xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.
Ensure there are no spaces in the string if cut and pasting from your email message.
If the license does not work for some reason, it could be for the following reasons:
The system is not attached to the Internet:
Ensure your PC is attached to the Internet and re-enter the license.
For Client PC licenses purchased over the web, only web based activation is supported.
For Server licenses, you may use the offline activation method. Refer to the User Guide for more details.
The license has exceeded the number of allowed activations:
The license has been entered too many times.
If planning to re-install Windows or changing your motherboard hardware, please deactivate the license first.
Open the FuzeDrive application, select Change Settings, License then select Deactivate.
Alternatively, you can use the following command at an Admin Command Line prompt to first deactivate the license on the old OS installation BEFORE uninstalling the FuzeDrive software:
> ecmd --license return
The license may now be reused on the new OS installation and the software will no longer provide any acceleration on the old hardware. The old machine will however still be able to boot and access data.
I Can No Longer Access the OS Drive to Deactivate My License
Please raise a ticket via the Enmotus support page and provide the following details:
License Key Number
Motherboard/System Model Number
License submit error if any (or a screen shot of the failing license message)
Your Computer Name Contains Non ASCII Characters:
Go to your PC's Settings, Choose System > About > Rename this PC.
Rename the PC using only ASCII characters.
After activating the license, feel free to change the name back.
The license key itself was typed in wrong:
Check the key and renter.
If possible, cut and paste the license key directly from the email you received with the license using Ctrl-C to copy, then Ctrl-V to paste into the license key dialog box.
